This is a fan-made, open strategy hub for Subnautica 2. It is not affiliated with Unknown Worlds or Krafton, and exists to help players plan their adventure on the ocean moon Proteus.

Where does the data come from?

Entries are compiled from the Subnautica 2 community wiki (subnautica2-wiki.net), the ali213 Early Access survival guide, the official Steam store page, and the IGN, GameWith, Polygon and GameSpot walkthrough hubs, plus other published EA coverage (Epic, Kotaku, TapTap, Ludens), the PC Gamer and GameRant tip hubs, the TheRevPlays YouTube walkthrough series, and the MapGenie interactive map, and the MeinMMO guides hub (German EA coverage), and the Gamersky (游民星空) EA guide index. Biome and creature names, depths and threat tiers reflect community-documented Early Access data and may change before full release. Precise distances/coordinates are approximate and vary by seed/build.

Are the crafting recipes verified?

Yes — every recipe's materials were cross-checked against primary Early Access guides and are fully traceable. Each Crafting card and each Walkthrough vehicle step links to its verified source: 21 recipes match the IGN Walkthrough exactly; Flashlight matches GameWith; Moonpool, Vehicle Fabricator, Processor, Basic Battery and Filtered Water match Polygon; Battery Terminal matches its own guide. The remaining baseline recipes (e.g. Beacon, First Aid Kit, Bio Lab) come from the site's original EA compilation (subnautica2-wiki.net / ali213 / Steam) and are flagged as such. One correction was made during verification: the Power Cell uses 2 Basic Batteries (per Polygon), not 1.

What does "TBD" mean?

Items marked ⚠ Subnautica 2 details to be confirmed are likely to change when the game ships. Treat them as placeholders to be replaced with verified data.

Is this the full game?

No — Subnautica 2 is still in Early Access. This guide already covers more than a dozen boards: Biomes, Creatures, Crafting, Vehicles, Base Building, Beginner's Guide, Walkthrough, Resources, Adaptations, Story, Co-op, Media, and this About page.

How do I contribute?

The site is plain HTML/CSS/JS on GitHub. Edit assets/js/data.js to add or correct entries, then open a pull request. No build step required.

What's still on the roadmap?

Per-recipe source attribution is now live (see the Crafting board and the Walkthrough vehicle steps). Still planned: per-recipe ingredient tooltips, an interactive biome depth map, and SEO/OG sharing images for each board. The data-driven architecture makes additions straightforward.

Is it mobile friendly?

Fully responsive with a dedicated mobile menu, plus a light / dark / system theme toggle that remembers your choice.

Early Access & platforms

Subnautica 2 launched in Early Access with roughly 20–40 hours of content. It is available on PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S; no PlayStation version has been announced. Co-op supports up to 4 players and is cross-platform, but not required to play.
